I have a new construction home, should I still test for Radon?

Yes.

The age of a home is not a predictive Radon factor. Newer homes may still have high levels (and in fact, may have higher levels) since older homes are draftier and today’s new construction homes are built tighter than in the past.

This makes it less likely the gas will escape through cracks and drafts in the home.
